Our steady growth has brought new clients, new team mates and a fresh approach to the way accounting and tax services are delivered. Our new name and identity is a reflection of this change. TaxAbility’s origins and roots are from Whitings Chartered Accountants. Whitings was founded by John Whiting in 1985 with the intention of developing a personalised service, family operated business. The business has developed totally from referrals with a growing client base in Western Australia and Inter-state. The accounting practice has a well-trained accounting team dedicated to maintaining our personalised approach in delivering our services.

The firm specialises in providing quality tax accounting and business advice. Our positioning statement, “dedicated solutions” reflects the ethos of the firm to provide specifically tailored solutions to client’s financial problems. We do this by advising comprehensively on tax, accounting, business advice, debt restructuring, financial planning, estate planning and risk, with a strong emphasis on building retirement assets including self-managed superannuation funds.

John Whiting obtained a Securities Dealers Licence in 1993 and formed the Financial Planning arm of the business, Whitings Financial Services. The two business divisions work collaboratively to provide clients a complete financial service in a one-stop shop.
